Is the SomaVeda® CDT method a cure for cellulite?
No. There is no cure for cellulite - not SomaVeda® CDT - not Endermologie - not even liposuction, which does not effect the subcutaneous fat layer where the cause of cellulite is. However, the SomaVeda® CDT method is the most effective treatment we have found at reducing the appearance of cellulite by effectively targeting the subcutaneous fat layer, causing fibrosis breakage, dispersing fat tissue, elongating connective tissue and promoting lymphatic drainage. The cellulite becomes much less visible since both the tension of connective tissue and the pressure of accumulated fat deposits and fibrosis build-up around the cellulite are greatly reduced and therefore a smoother, firmer, more toned look is achieved.
Is there any pain associated with the SomaVeda® CDT method?
No. In fact, many of our clients favorably compare the treatment to a relaxing massage.
How many treatments are required?
As is the case with all cellulite reduction therapies, several treatments are required, which is why we offer discounted, multiple treatment packages. However, for some people with minor cellulite, satisfying results can be achieved after only a few treatments with the SomaVeda® CDT method. We offer consultations to advise you of the type of results you can expect.
Am I a suitable candidate for SomaVeda® CDT?
Only if you are serious about changing the look and feel of your skin or giving your immune system a boost! Please contact us to ask any questions.
I'm having / or had Liposuction. Is SomaVeda® CDT suitable for me?
SomaVeda® CDT is the ultimate treatment for those who are pre and post liposuction patients.
Pre-Liposuction: These clients can expect superior surgery results when SomaVeda® CDT is used prior to surgery. A few sessions will allow the fatty tissue to be more easily and thoroughly aspirated. Usage prior to surgery has resulted in approximately 50% more tissue aspirated when using this technique.
Post-Liposuction: These clients can expect excellent reshaping and contouring and a decrease in the appearance and feel of adhesions and lumpy tissue from surgery. Improved skin tone and texture can also be expected.

Is Cellulite Dangerous?
Although it is not life threatening, the presence of cellulite is a warning that we should not ignore. Because cellulite is caused by collapsing capillaries, veins or lymph vessels we need to ask ourselves why they have started to collapse and whether the factors that have attacked our circulatory system under the skin are at work in other areas where more serious damage could occur, such as the brain or heart. The answer is almost certainly 'yes it is dangerous'; the presence of cellulite may indicates that critical organs are suffering damage and this damage will lead to chronic disease unless it is stopped. The appearance of cellulite is often accompanied by or with Edema and Lympheadema. Chronic edema has a whole host of health related concerns and pathologies associated with it and definitely should be addressed as a potential health risk.

Recent research emerging from Europe confirms that cellulite is the result of damaged circulation and drainage in the tissues under the skin. There are many ways that the very delicate micro-circulation and lymph drainage vessels under the skin can be damaged. It is certain that free radicals play a role in this damage and it is likely that physical damage or restriction is also involved in starting the cycle of deterioration that results in cellulite. Causes of this physical damage or restriction may be: sitting for long periods, wearing tights, over exertion while training, etc. If either the incoming fresh blood, or the outgoing 'used' blood is restricted, free radicals start to build up and oxygen becomes scarce. This causes more damage to the circulation as well as impairing the function of the cells that make up the connective tissue. The SomaVeda CDT protocols can help address and reverse this deterioration.
This is not just for appearances! There are lymph vessels and lymph nodes throughout the entire body. The lymphatic system plays an extremely important part in fighting infection and increasing immunity to disease. The lymph system acts as a purification and drainage system for the body. Unlike our blood circulation system, the lymphatic system has no heart to pump lymph throughout the body. As a result, pressure in the lymph vessels tends to be low and easily restricted, causing pooling, swelling, toxic build-up and other complications. The specific electrical, vibratory and manual techniques of CDT stimulate and increase the movement of lymph so you receive the healthy and important benefits of improved lymph flow and detoxifying drainage.
